Three rail terminals

Venlo currently has three rail terminals, including the largest inland rail terminal in the Netherlands. This terminal covers a total of 28 hectares and includes eight nine hundred meter tracks. The terminal has a maximum capacity of 800,000 TEU per year and can load and unload 12 trains per day. Because one train has the same capacity as 56 trucks, the new rail terminal in the region relieves road traffic in particular and thus also reduces CO2 emissions.
